Autumn Details

Fall is one of my favorite times of year; I love the warm colors and rustic materials available only at this time. This detail is from a birthday party tablescape designed for a long marble topped table.  Autumn foliage, berries, gourds, and flowers are accented by the soft glow of burlap covered votives. Charming burlap birdhouses and bright red cardinals add to the ambience.

It’s Valentines Day Again!

Valentines Day is next week and being in the floral world, red roses always come to mind. The romantic favorite is available in many varieties other than the traditional long stemmed: Think about clusters of spray roses or beautiful round garden roses.

This charming bouquet is made of beautiful red garden style spray roses with buds and blooms in different stages. The full, open roses look similar to peonies and they are available all year long!

Bridal Guide 25th Anniversary

I am once again so happy to have been asked to design the cover bouquet for Bridal Guide. This time it was for the for the Jan-Feb 2013 issue, to celebrate the magzine’s 25th anniversary! As usual the cover gown was exquisite and the model lovely! My thanks to all involved especially editor in chief Diane Forden for a consistently beautiful magazine and art director Mary Cate Godfrey for assembling a wonderful creative team.

I’m very pleased to have bouquets in the current issue of  BRIDAL GUIDE MAGAZINE (September/October 2012)! The  “Modern Love” story on pages 236-237 pictures classic white flowers with black and brown accents to coordinate with the sophisticated styling of gowns and venue. The location was the the trendy James Hotel in Soho.
